After you create your login, your business must be verified (KYB/KYC) before you can use UQPAY services. The whole process is done online in the merchant platform at app.uqpay.com.
Start the verification
Log in. On the Overview page, click Continue in the banner at the top (or Open account if you have not started yet).
The Activate your account form opens. The left side shows three stages; complete them in order.
Step 1 — Set up your business
Company profile: upload your company registration document (for example the certificate of incorporation or business profile). Click Extract information and the system pre-fills the company name, registration number and incorporation date for you to check. You can also choose Fill in manually.
Company address: confirm the registered address and, if different, the operating address.
Business details: industry, website, business description and company size.
Business operations: the currencies you expect to use, the main countries you operate in, and what you plan to use the account for (collect payments, pay out, multi-currency banking, card issuing, crypto on/off-ramp, FX). Select every product you intend to use — this determines which services are enabled after approval.
Step 2 — Verify ownership
Ownership details: add every beneficial owner holding 25% or more, every director, and at least one authorized representative. Click Identify directors and shareholders from uploaded documents to let the system read them from your registration documents, or click Add stakeholder and upload the person's ID to pre-fill their details. Each application must contain at least one beneficial owner and at least one director.
Under Authorized representative, choose the person who will manage the account. This person completes the identity verification.
Identity verification: the authorized representative verifies their identity with a government ID and a short face check. Click Verify now to do it on the spot, or Send link to send the verification link to their email so they can complete it on their own device.
The application can be submitted before the identity verification is finished; verification can be completed later from the link. Approval, however, is only granted once it is done.
Step 3 — Review and submit
Check every section. Click any step on the left to go back and edit.
Read and accept the terms, then click Agree and submit.
After submission
Review normally completes within 1 business day after all required documents are received.
If we need more information, a task appears under Action Required in the left menu and you receive an email. Open the task, upload what is requested and resubmit.
Once approved, you receive a confirmation email and the products you selected become available in the left menu.
